TikTok Shop works through 3 native shopping formats.
TikTok live shopping is when merchants or creators host a live stream to showcase and sell products. Viewers can join the LIVE, interact with the brand or creator in real-time and click on the basket icon to add products to their basket and checkout, without leaving the app.

Shoppable short videos
Short videos are your usual TikTok Shop video which include product links for users to click through and buy products. The videos appear on the FYP feed as your standard video would. However, in the corner they feature the shopping basket icon which includes the products mentioned to shop directly in-app.

Product showcase tab
The product showcase is located in the tab of the seller or creator profile. This is essentially a catalog of products which users can browse through to make a purchase directly within the app allowing them to shop directly from a brand or creator account.
